Insurgen.info

Partyvan.info appears completely dead, and is redirecting to 711chan's /i/. Insurgen.info is now the de facto wiki for /i/. Too bad they couldn't get the partyvan.info domain to redirect to the former, for nostalgia sake.

Wiki uptimes

Well, at least from my research, insurgen.info has had more traffic, more consistently, and has had a higher uptime (big surprise there), and more openness to certain types of raids, than partyvan.info. It's probably wise to conintue making sure important raids are on both sites, but I'll let you pass your own judgment on which one to use primarily.

http://partyvan.info/ is back up. Use whichever is online the most, though moral-type things (e.g. Chanology) should probably be put on insurgen.cc

New Domain

From now on, it is advisable to use http://insurgen.cc/. Partyvan.info is currently redirecting to LM, and nobody can be bothered to fix it, apparently.

Wiki back

Wiki has been back since yesterday, fyi.

Re-installing server

Apparently the partition scheme for the server is sucky (i.e. no swap parition), so we need to re-install everything to fix this. Until then, everything will be slow.

Reinstalling

Bear with us while we re-install the wiki software. There were bugs and everything was disorganized. Should be up within the hour.

Domain issue is fixed. If you still can't access partyvan.info, try these in order, going to the next step only if the previous didn't solve the problem:

1. Remove any mention of partyvan.info from your hosts file
2. Switch to openDNS
3. An Hero

It's unclear if we'll get partyvan.info back, but it really doesn't matter. At least we'll lose all the referrals from economist and w/e over chanology.

DNS is currently being worked out. In the meantime, add this line to your hosts file:

89.46.34.113 partyvan.info

On lunix, the host file is /etc/hosts, and on windows it is C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Just be sure to remove this line after the w/i/ki is fixed, or it will break for you when the ip changes.

Afraid.org, which handled our dns, decided to pull the plug and redirect partyvan.info to localhost. If you know the ip of the site before the nullroute, put it into your host file and then it should work. I wrote you some poetry:
